Tarpauline 

A tarpaulin is a large sheet of resilient polymer products in multiple sizes, typically produced from polymers such as HDPE, LDPE or PVC. Throughout the days of yore, they are often used to cover items on fleets from which their name was taken – tar + palling, meaning "tarred canvas." Different types of tarpaulins are available in various materials and densities for diverse uses.
